What we collect. When you use the free diagnosis, we record anonymous usage events (the result shown, whether a card was downloaded, and — only when a name cannot be processed — the name you entered, so we can add it to our dictionary). We do not collect your email or identity for the free service.

When you purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We receive from Stripe your email address and the name you provided, which we use solely to generate and deliver your reading and to respond to support requests.

Where data lives. Usage events and purchased readings are stored with Supabase; the site is served by Cloudflare; payments run on Stripe. Personalized report prose is generated via the Anthropic API using only the name and reading data — no other personal information is sent.

What we never do. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, and we do not send marketing email. To request deletion of your data, contact us at [email protected].

Nature of the service. meimei provides cultural and entertainment content: kanji renderings of names and readings based on seimei handan, a traditional Japanese naming practice. Readings are offered for cultural interest and enjoyment; they are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice, and no outcome is guaranteed.

Digital delivery. The Full Reading is a digital product delivered immediately after payment via your report page, which remains accessible through its link.

Refunds. Because the product is digital and personalized, purchases are generally final. However: (1) if your name cannot be processed by our dictionary, you receive a full refund immediately upon request; (2) if your report fails to generate or contains a defect, we will fix it or refund you. Intellectual property. Your purchased reading is yours to print, share, and enjoy personally. The meimei name, design, and report format remain ours.
